Short Summary
We follow 8 storylines through a dystopian world set in the Summer of 2020. The capital “Metropolice”, is under siege - sirens, helicopters, & fireworks are the soundtrack to the revolution. To make things worse, a global pandemic has swept the world & particularly America, which is ruled by “The Supremacy”. Curfews have been implemented on sections of the populous. The link between each story is a genocide that has reached a critical point, the American Holocaust.
My Role
As the Art Director and Stylist of this film, my role was to bring the Director, Yasha Gruben of Trix Studios' vision to life through set design, costumes, graphic materials and merchandise. As for many independent films, the greatest challenge is reaching your greatest expectation within your limited budget. As the stylist, I traveled from Detroit to NY stopping to thrift every item of clothing seen here along the way. Backgrounds were also created in-house, such as the 20ft American Flag I painted and the boxing ring I created for the "debate" scenes.
